Since 2018, ZAL Port has adhered to the United Nations Global Compact, which implies a commitment to the principles of human rights, labor standards, the environment and anti-corruption, as well as the obligation to annually publish the results achieved through the progress. Since 2018 we have been committed to complying with the ten principles and we report our results through the publication of the sustainability report.
Principle 1.
Businesses must support and respect the protection of internationally recognized fundamental human rights within their sphere of influence.
Principle 2.
Companies must ensure that their companies are not complicit in the violation of Human Rights Humans.
Principle 3.
Companies must support freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to Collective negotiation.
Principle 4.
Businesses should support the elimination of all forms of forced or coerced labour.
Principle 5.
Companies should support the eradication of child labor.
Principle 6.
Companies must support the abolition of discriminatory practices in employment and occupation
Principle 7.
Companies must maintain a preventive approach that favors the environment.
Principle 8.
Companies should encourage initiatives that promote greater environmental responsibility.
Principle 9.
Companies must encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
Principle 10.
Businesses must work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
