ZAL Port appears in the television program: «Amb Identitat: Seguretat»

The TVE2 television program “Amb identitat” has taken the case of the ZAL Port as an example   to talk about security in its program on September 27.

The director of safety and environment, Carlos Carrasco, has been in charge of explaining what are the measures and routines that make the Port of Barcelona logistics activities area a safe space for both the people who work there and the companies and your merchandise.

As Carlos Carrasco explains, security in the  ZAL Port  is organized into 3 large families and each of them has its own mechanisms:

• Operational safety:
  • Security guards.
  • Vehicles.
  • CCTV cameras.
  • Coordination of external teams.
  • Surveillance systems.
• Industrial Security:
  • Fire protection system.
  • Drills.
  • Emergency numbers.
• Job security:
  • Management of the ZAL Port according to the labor risk law.
  • Coordination of Business Activities (CAE) between the ZAL Port and its clients / service companies.
